With electrifying energy, we open the summer concert season at the “Great Amber”!
Electro Deluxe - French Jazz, funk, hip hop and soul band - calls themselves ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing’. With dynamite-like power they have seized the biggest stages in concert halls worldwide - in China, India, Canada, Mexico, Turkey and Europe. With its expressive and emotionally saturated performances, Electro Deluxe has become one of the most demanded bands at Europe's largest jazz and pop music festivals - Jazz a Marciac, Montréal Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz, Jazz à Vienne, Cervantino, Solidays. The last three of their six studio albums have reached the top of French jazz music charts, while in pop music rankings the band is amongst the "top ten". Their music is also played in movies and television shows, including the most popular show in the US The Good Wife. In 2017, Electro Deluxe was awarded the Band of the Year, receiving the French equivalent of the Grammy award - the Jazz Music Award Victoire de la Musique.
Although they started out as a quartet, Electro Deluxe gained a unique sound and elegance, once it was joined by the American soloist James Copley. James took the stage with his magnificent voice and never-ending energy and charm.
In Liepaja, Electro Deluxe will perform songs from their latest album Circle, as well as the most popular songs from their previous albums.
