KASPARS ZEMĪTIS AND RIGA CATHEDRAL BOYS’ CHOIR WAITING FOR THE LIGHT
The first part of the concert will include a new piece by Kaspars Zemītis – "Gaismu gaidot" ("Waiting for the light") for an extended boys’ choir and electric guitar. The cycle begins and ends with a prayer hymn "O, Salutaris" by St. Thomas Aquinas, followed by musical performances with poetry by Normunds Beļskis. The concert will continue with compositions by English renaissance authors.
