The upcoming mini album will include seven original compositions inspired by the most popular compositions of the legendary band "Līvi". The first composition will reach listeners already in mid-October.

“I would say that songs are a combination of original songs of the two groups - ours and "Līvi". The compositions will include well-known song motives and melodies of "Līvi", which we have recreated with the characteristic sound of "Musiqq", added hip-hop elements etc. In my opinion, the result has turned out to be really interesting and we hope that our performance will also be appreciated by the listeners,” "Musiqq" member Emīls Balceris talks about the new album.

The idea arrived during Covid pandemic in 2021, when there were tight restrictions and limited musical activity. "Musiqq" band member Marats Ogleznevs reveals how idea about new album was born.

"Our most observant fans and followers would have noticed that since the beginning of the pandemic we have been sharing videos on our Tik-tok profile where we experiment with various Latvian songs and merge them with our ideas. The process was exciting for us and therefore we decided to turn it into a tangible result. It is said that people from Liepāja are hardened by the wind and never stop at what they had achieved. That's why new ideas always push us forward and urge creating something unusual."

The group invites to a concert series in three cities:

• Concert hall "Lielais Dzintars" in Liepāja on 13th of November.

• The Embassy of Latgale “Gors” in Rēzekne on 26th of November.

• Culture Center in Valmiera on 3rd of December.
