On behalf of the Latvian Radiology Association it is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 6th Baltic Radiology Congress (BCR) 2016 as a result of cooperation between Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian Radiology and Radiographer societies. The meeting will be held in the centre of Liepaja (Latvia) from October 6-8, at the Concert Hall Great Amber.
Liepaja is the 3rd largest city in Latvia and 10th largest one in the Baltic States. The city is located at the west coast of Latvia. The sea with its widest sandy beach in the country, strolling, beautiful scenery and colorful sunsets attract locals, neighbors and guests. During the less sunny months of the year Liepāja’s vibrant cultural life offer true pearls of art, the internationally recognized performances of Liepaja Theatre and Symphony orchestra. Liepaja’s Great Amber concert hall with it's unconventional design is a new venue to city’s skyline which was previously dominated by a combination of medieval spires and 20th-century industrial smoke stacks.
The Congress will start with Radiology School, dedicated to the developing field of Nuclear medicine in the Baltic States - Positron Emission tomography computed tomography, followed by extensive scientific programm of plenary lectures, up-to-date lectures, categorical courses, poster and scientific sessions for radiologists and radiographers. This congress will have also focused sessions on Ultrasound, Pediatric and Breast imaging. Highly qualified experienced international faculty have been chosen to cover main subspecialities of radiology, to discuss different aspects of daily practice. Scientific lectures are incorporated in each session to show recent advances in our field.
The varied and interesting multidisciplinary programme is dedicated to most recent developments in radiology as well as to education and training.

No 6. līdz 8.oktobrim koncertzālē “Lielais dzintars” notiks Baltijas Radioloģijas kongress – starptautiska konference, kas vienkopus Liepājas pilsētā pulcēs ap 700 radioloģijas speciālistus no Baltijas valstīm, Lielbritānijas, Vācijas, Itālijas, Somijas, Zviedrijas, Dānijas, Norvēģijas, Krievijas, Filipīnām u.c. valstīm.
Radioloģijas kongress ir Baltijas reģiona nozīmīgākais radioloģijas nozares notikums, kurā paredzētas inovatīvu tehnoloģiju prezentācijas, kā arī plaša, izglītojoša programma ar starptautisku lektoru dalību. Kongresā piedalīsies vairāki simti radioloģijas diagnostiķi, terapeiti, radiogrāferi un inženieri, kā arī 118 vieslektori un speciālisti no visas Eiropas.
Līdztekus lekcijām koncertzāles telpās noritēs demonstrācijas, jaunāko iekārtu prezentācijas un izstāde, kā arī diskusijas par aktuālām un praktiskām problēmām mūsdienu radioloģijā.
Baltijas Radioloģijas kongresu organizē Latvijas Radiologu asociācija sadarbībā ar Medicīnas izglītības un attīstības fondu, kongresa tehnisko organizāciju nodrošina kompānija “Con-Ex Latvija Tours Group” sadarbībā ar koncertzāli "Lielais dzintars".

Koncertzāles “Lielais dzintars” administrācija vērš apmeklētāju uzmanību - no 6. līdz 8.oktobrim koncertzāles telpas publiskai apskatei nebūs pieejamas, izņemot iekļūšanu uz 6.oktobra koncertu “Atklāšanas noslēpumi”. Apmeklētājiem šajās dienās būs pieejami koncertzāles informācijas centra pakalpojumi (biļešu, suvenīru iegāde u.c.), kā arī kafejnīca un restorāns “Tinto”.
7. un 8.oktobrī iebraukšana un automašīnu novietošana stāvlaukumā pie koncertzāles “Lielais dzintars” būs iespējama tikai uzrādot kongresa organizatoru izsniegto caurlaidi, savukārt 6.oktobrī arī uzrādot koncerta “Atklāšanas noslēpumi” ieejas biļeti. SIA “Lielais dzintars” administrācija atvainojas par sagādātajām neērtībām.
