30. JULY 19.00

2018

Japanese drum group “Daigen-gumi” was founded in 2000 in Tokyo, Oota ward. The name of the group includes Kanji character from place-name “Oota” and kanji character “Base”, thus symbolically conveying their intention to make Oota ward a base where talented musicians fostered in the group can spread their wings and start their flight across the world.

“Daigen-gumi” is a group of professional Japanese drummers who play concerts not only in Japan, but also abroad. They have performed on different stages in Lithuania, United Kingdom, Taiwan and other countries, playing their music in concerts, festivals, TV shows, theater plays and live sessions. Performance of “Daigen-gumi” transcends the genre of Japanese drum music.
