THE WORLD IN AN AMBER / FEDERATION OF BOSNIA and HERZEGOVINA

The diverse guitarist and lutist Edin Karamazov was born in Bosnia and studied under the guidance of the world famous lute master Hopkinson Smith.

Karamazov is widely known as the stage partner of the British pop star Sting – the musicians recorded an album together Songs of the Labyrinth, released under the prominent Deutsche Grammophon label. Karamazov invites listeners to a solo concert “Electric Counterpoint” in Liepaja, where he will perform music by Johann Sebastian Bach, and with the electric guitar will entertain the audience with compositions from the American minimalist Steve Reich.
