Lielais Dzintars

On Tuesday, November 24, at 7:00 p.m., the Chamber Hall of the Great Amber Concert Hall will host the closing concert of the “Ethno Jazz” project, titled “Ethno Jazz Vol. Bārta,” featuring the world premiere of ethno-jazz compositions created by students of the Liepāja Secondary School of Music, Art, and Design (LMMDV), inspired by the traditional musical heritage of Bārta.

Koncertā būs dzirdami aptuveni desmit jaundarbi, kuros Bārtas tradicionālais skanējums sastapsies ar džezu, improvizāciju un jauno mūziķu radošo redzējumu. “Etno džezs vol. Bārta” aicina paraudzīties uz tradicionālo mūziku kā uz dzīvu un iedvesmojošu materiālu jaunradei, meklējot jaunus veidus, kā kultūras mantojums var turpināt skanēt mūsdienās.
