Drummer, percussionist and composer Kaspars Kurdeko has studied music in Amsterdam and New York. He has won a prestigious international award with the jazz quartet DekoMotion and the award of the best performer at Keep Aye Jazz Award 2010 in the Netherlands. Now, the musician has been active in various projects with Spyros Manises Trio (Greece–Portugal), Tree Stones (the Baltics), Verner Pohjola (Finland), and Francesco Bearzatti (France).
