Duo Synthesia is a piano duet formed in Austria by two representatives of the new generation of the European pianistic school — Anton Rosputko, who is well known to the Latvian public, and Daphne Schreiber. They are bound together by an impeccable sense of ensemble, vivid individuality, and a profound understanding of the music they perform.

For this evening, Duo Synthesia has prepared a program that opens with a four-hand performance on a single instrument, while the rest of the works will be performed on two grand pianos. This format demands from the musicians not only virtuoso mastery of the instrument, but also rare ensemble precision, a subtle mutual ear, and the ability to breathe as one in music.

The concert program features masterpieces of French Impressionism:
Claude Debussy — "Petite Suite" and "Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune";
Maurice Ravel — "Introduction and Allegro".
The culmination of the evening will be Sergei Rachmaninoff's "Symphonic Dances" in the version for two pianos — the composer's last major work. This is dazzlingly vibrant and profound music, combining drama, nostalgia, rhythmic energy, and the orchestral scale of Rachmaninoff's late style.
