Leonid Desyatnikov’s humorous Variations interact with Beethoven’s sonata for piano and cello, twisted with thoughts, alongside with one of chamber music masterpieces – Johannes Brahms’ Sonata E-moll. All that – supplemented with a new composition by Gundega Šmite, written specially for this duet and this concert series.
The Great Music Award laureates Herta Hansena and Ēriks Kiršfelds are music partners rich of experience, since they have played together for more than ten years.
Tickets are available at any „Biļešu paradīze“ booking-office in Latvia as well as online. Winter concert series „Turn on the light“ with chamber music and jazz concerts will take place at „Great Amber“ chamber Hall and „Promenade hotel“ Hiks Hall. Discounts available for pupils, students and seniors. For children under the age of 7 (if an additional seat is not needed) - no entrance fee.
