Intars Busulis and the Abonementa Orchestra have released a new album, “Deg mans ugunskurs,” and the musicians hope to share the songs from it with audiences at concerts throughout Latvia.
These will be concerts where you can find joy, let yourself be swept away, and sing your heart out to melodic ballads.
The concerts will feature songs from the new album, a collaboration between Intars Busulis and Kārlis Lācis, as well as songs that are already beloved and well-known to the audience.
The composers have entrusted the lyrics for the new songs to poets whose works were selected as the texts for the compositions. Among them are Marts Pujāts, Kārlis Vērdiņš, Kate Elpo, and several other poets.
Special emphasis is placed on musical quality during the concerts. Joining Intars Busulis on stage will be a group of professional musicians—the Abonementa Orchestra: Vineta Lāce, Karīna Rasa, Alise Kante, Kristīne Pastare, Kaspars Zemītis, Edvīns Ozols, and Māris Jēkabsons.
The “Deg mans ugunskurs” concerts will take place in Cēsis, Rēzekne, and Liepāja, with a grand finale of the concert tour scheduled for May 8, 2027, in Riga at the Xiaomi Arena!
Intars Busulis is a Latvian singer, trombonist, and composer who, for more than 20 years, has been known for his ability to connect with a wide audience, his energy, and his charisma, and who is equally at home in the genres of pop, jazz, and variety music.
