The young musicians earned the opportunity to perform with a symphony orchestra in the “Liepāja Skan 2026” competition held this spring. The competition and the subsequent winners’ concert are now in their second year, establishing a tradition centered on the growth of young musicians, their stage experience, and the opportunity to perform with an orchestra.

This year, students in grades 2–8 from the MIKC “Liepāja Secondary School of Music, Art, and Design,” the Kalēti Elementary School of Music and Art, the Nīca Music School, Ata Kronvalda Durbe Elementary School, and the Grobiņa School of Music and Art. The concert will feature the violin, viola, flute, saxophone, and piano, showcasing both the sounds of various instruments and the musicality and mastery of the young performers.

We invite music lovers, families, teachers, and friends to attend and support the young musicians at this concert, where the success of the competition transforms into a new and exciting stage experience.
