Liepāja Culture Award, organised by the Liepāja City Board of Culture, over the years has become an integral part of the city’s cultural life and an important contribution to excellence and culture quality. The aim of the Culture Award is to recognise those cultural events that have encouraged the recognition of Liepāja as well as new and creative ideas in the culture of Liepāja. Year after year, the award winners demonstrate that here is the true Latvian Capital of Culture.
