The dream about Latvia - our own country - was cherished in many hearts in the late 19th century, and yet on year 1873 it was spoken out loud. From that moment, the power of communion of the people was determined in a united voice of the choirs, and the path to the fulfilment of this dream was strengthened by faith, music and words. “Prayers for Latvia” is the dedication of Liepaja choirs to Latvia for its 100th anniversary and the future.
