Moreover, also the songs of the band New Moon are going to be performed. The album Atsaukties comes out after a seven year long break. As one of the first ones the new songs evaluated the grand master of the music descriptions Klāss Vāvere: “I listened to eight songs of this new album and I felt like meeting an old friend and making sure that he is still the same person I have always known, but even better! The stylistic changes are not major, but significant – as after many years of friendship everything is distinguished by nuances. The intonation of Ainars is less pretentious, less moralizing, more contemplative and reflective, and therefore more personal. Usually minimalist, with the confidence and feeling recorded instrumental accompaniment, where every note is justified but still free and natural, is cultivated to perfection and no longer just a background of the author`s message. It all shapes a perfectly balanced multilayer entity, where every song is a fully functioning micro world. I willnot be surprised if this album turns out to be thestrongest performance of this band so far.”
