Have you ever played “Ludo” or “Snakes and Ladders” with an orchestra? This won’t be an ordinary concert, but a memorable musical game where humor, teamwork, unexpected twists, clever strategy, and a little bit of luck will help you win.
An exciting adventure into the world of music and games awaits, where students are invited to explore various board games. We’ll take a look at the history of the oldest games, such as chess and “Snakes and Ladders,” and learn about the behind-the-scenes story of how digital games were invented in our era. We’ll discover how a concert stage can be transformed into a real playground.
From the collection of Latvian nursery rhymes, children will be able to sing along and dance to songs by Raimonds Pauls; Elga Igenberga’s legendary “Riču raču dziesmiņa” and “Mazais mērkaķītis,” arranged by E. Zilberts, will also be performed. Well-known musical themes will also be featured, such as “Super Mario,” “The Pink Panther,” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Students will also be invited to participate in a quiz game.
