In anticipation of the Latvian national holidays so deeply meaningful to us all, the concert will feature beloved songs that were vital during the Awakening (Atmoda), when our nation fought for its freedom and statehood, and still remain so today. These include legendary songs from the rock opera "Lāčplēsis", patriotic pieces by composers Jānis Lūsēns, Zigmars Liepiņš, Imants Kalniņš, Uldis Marhilevičs, Raimonds Pauls, Juris Kulakovs, and other authors, alongside traditional Latvian folk songs.
