Shipsea, or Jānis Šipkēvics, is one of the brightest and most beloved contemporary Latvian musicians. His versatile and sonorous voice is deeply moving to all listeners. In the program Symphonic Light, his songs will acquire a symphonic scope with the participation of Sinfonietta Rīga, and we will experience their grandiosity almost on the seashore – in the concert garden Pūt, vējiņi!.

“In the interpretation of Sinfonietta Rīga, music that I know so well suddenly blossomed as if seen through 3D glasses! Our collaboration in the first concert came about so naturally and inspiringly that we decided to make it happen again. There are still so many ideas for the future! The summer 2026 concert will certainly bring many new surprises, and I am eagerly looking forward to it.”
