Every year, Christmas is the time when we can become more harmonious, spiritual and empathetic towards the people around us. This is another year when we will see Latvian musicians collaborating in the project Close to You (Tev tuvumā), inviting all of us to feel the warmth of the heart and share it with anyone who longs for it, and remember that we actually need it every day throughout the year! This year, the music project will unite Aija Andrejeva, Marts Kristiāns Kalniņš and the band Putnu Balle.
The project Close to You (Tev tuvumā) will see the performance of the most beautiful Christmas songs by Imants Kalniņš, Raimonds Pauls, Aivars Hermanis, Jānis Lūsēns, Valts Pūce, Uldis Marhilēvičs, Igo, Aigars Voitišķis and other Latvian composers. This year will also feature music composed for the project by Renārs Kaupers, Jānis Lūsēns and Aivars Hermanis.
