Starting June 5, participants are invited to register for the IRCAM International Forum Workshops, taking place from September 25–27 in Riga and Liepāja. These workshops offer professionals, students, and researchers the opportunity to explore scientific research and artistic creativity through cutting-edge audio technologies. The Forum is organized by IRCAM, a part of the Centre Pompidou in Paris, in collaboration with Liepāja Concert Hall “Great Amber”, the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, Riga Technical University Liepāja Academy, and the French Institute in Latvia and Paris. This event is of special significance for Latvia, as it marks the first time the international edition of the IRCAM Forum Workshops will take place in Europe.

Since 1994, the forum has been held around the world as part of the global initiative "Hors-les-Murs". It gathers both IRCAM Forum members (60,000) and other interested individuals – composers, independent artists, students, music professionals, and sound technology experts – to share knowledge and innovation through lectures, discussions, and live demonstrations.
Over the past decade, IRCAM Forum Workshops have taken place in countries such as South Korea, Brazil, Taiwan, Argentina, China, the United States, and Chile.
