ARMENIAN DUDUK "SOUNDS OF ETERNITY"

17. DECEMBER 19.00

Sunday
2023

The duduk is an ancient Armenian wind instrument made from apricot wood. The soul of the apricot tree - this is how the name of the instrument sounds in translation. And this is symbolic. A cut down tree lives if it is turned into a musical instrument. After all, the singing soul is eternal. We invite you to touch the sounds of eternity with us. “Music inspires the whole world, it gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination; and charm and gaiety to life and to everything... It can be called the embodiment of everything beautiful and everything sublime.” (Plato)
