The musical performance is based on the piano cycle “Gadalaiki” composed by Pēteris Vasks who celebrated his 70th birthday this year.

The performance is a story about a dancer’s life that will be shown through dance by dancer Kirils Burlovs.

Whereas the outstanding pianist Reinis Zariņš will play music. Illustrations of poetry and video projections will supplement the story. The main periods of the dancer’s life in the performance coincide with four parts of Pēteris Vasks’ cycle.
