The Choir will perform Christmas favorites like ‘Silent Night’, ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing’, and ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’ by Slade, among others. The audience are welcome to sing and dance along as the singers perform traditional and contemporary gospel music.

The London Community Gospel Choir was founded in 1982, and its founder and leader is Bazil Meade. The Choir’s members come from several London-based congregations, united by the Christian faith and a passion for music. Meade once said: ‘This unique combination is expressed through our songs that touch the hearts and minds of millions of people.’ 

The singers make regular appearances on the most important stages of the United Kingdom – Wembley Stadium, Royal Albert Hall, and the legendary Glastonbury Festival. The choir has performed with global stars like Mariah Carey, Madonna, Adele, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, Nick Jonas, George Michael, Justin Timberlake, Sir Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Gorillaz, One Republic, and many other famous artists. Their voices have been featured on many television and radio programs, as well as the soundtrack of Walt Disney’s The Lion King.

In celebration of their 30th Anniversary, LCGC hosted a historic concert in London, bringing together 30 choirs from across the world to perform together as one, breaking a Guinness World Record for the World’s largest Mass Gospel Choir. On their 40th anniversary, the Choir participated in the talent show Britain’s Got Talent with an exciting performance that received a standing ovation from the jury and the audience and got them to the semi-finals.

This untouchable unique blend of voices, personalities and artistry is what makes this choir a truly special, groundbreaking force in international gospel music today. They continue pushing boundaries, spreading hope and embodying true musical range.
